Susanne Foldal, born in Baerum, Norway in 1982.
In October 2004 she arrives in Milan and takes her degree in fashion design at Istituto Europeo di Design. After various work experiences she starts her collaboration with Tessuti Mimma Gini where in addition to managing the company's website, the graphic design and photography she also manages the women accessories collection, the home accessories collection and the knitwear collection. She starts developing her creative and planning skills which takes her in the direction of creating her very own line of knitwear designed and produced manually by herself.

Ottobre 2014 arriva a Milano dove si laurea in fashion design all'Istituto Europeo di Design e dopo varie esperienze lavorative inizia una collaborazione con la Tessuti Mimma Gini dove oltre di occuparsi dell'immagine grafico del sito e la fotografia segue la produzione degli accessori donna, accessori della casa e la linea di maglieria, sviluppando le sue capacità tecniche e creative che la porto a creare la sua propria linea di maglieria ideata e fatta con le sue stesse mani.
Between the year 2023 and 2024 i've had to deal with breast cancer .
After having surgery I faced many months of therapy.
I was able to make some of the sweaters before i got ill, some of them have been knitted during my recovery from surgery and during my chemo-therapy.
Continuing being creative is extra therapy for me and it helps me stay active and positive.
During the last months of chemo I lost a lot of energy and so I made the decision to close my business.

Nel 2023/2024 mi è stato diagnosticato un tumore al seno. Dopo l'intervento chirurgico ho dovuto affrontare mesi di chemioterapia e radioterapia.
Sono riuscita a fare delle maglie prima di ammalarmi, alcune le ho fatte mentre mi riprendevo dall'intervento chirurgico e le ultime le ho fatte pian piano durante la chemioterapia.
Per me continuare ad essere creativa è stata una terapia aggiunta che mi ha aiutata rimanere attiva e positiva.
Alla fine del percorso di chemio ho perso molte energie e avendo anche un mese di radioterapia da affrontare ho preso la decisione di chiudere la mia attività.
